melee splash and increase aoe gems...

i had been asking people in global chat about these 2 gems..
if i use melee splash in a single target gem like glacial hammer and add a inc aoe gem will it increase the aoe of splash??? some people said yes some are answered no. Can i get an accurate answer here??? thanks in advance. Last bumped on Aug 26, 2016, 7:28:10 AM

Of course. Splash is an AoE, it benefits from AoE Radius modifiers.

People get confused by the rule of thumb that "supports don't support other supports" but the melee splash grants AoE to the main skill and your increase AoE is modifying the main skill... not the support.
