Suggestions for Kongor's Unyielding Terror, Ele Overload build

I honestly wouldn't recommend speccing Crit. just for Onslaught. Especially in the current game where there are plenty of sources for Onslaught.

You're better off just using a Silver Flask, which gives 5 second of Onslaught on use(without quality) We're also getting the new belt soonish which will give you Onslaught when you have Fortify.

If he's going Inquisitor, he's speccing crit to be able to ignore resistances. May as well use Kongor's and get significant Onslaught uptime minus the flask, and thus use the flask slot for something actually useful.

As for other uniques...nothing really comes to mind as being absolutely required. Your core combo's already in place, everything else is basically life, resistances and accuracy. And whatever crit chance you can find, a'course.
With Kongor's mace he doesn't even need accuracy.

However,if you'd decided you like Marauder more than Templar,a good ascendancy could be Berserker - 40% more damage without conditions,100% life leech and much of additional attack speed are great.

Build idea looks very cool!
I always love it when people think of uses for old uniques.
The only serious concern is that there are no crit passives for maces.
And you are on the wrong side of the tree for the generic crit stuff except Disemboweling.
Getting high crit chance could be a problem.

For links I would not go for elemental focus, you are losing on shock and freeze.
Remember, your crits don't deal extra damage but they still have 100% chance to proc elemental status alignments.
Go for Inc. Aoe/Conc effect instead.

How are you going to sustain?

Naay mate,there is also Galvanic Hammer node - total 65% increased crit chance with maces.Along with Disemblowing,Ungil's Harmony + Rat's Nest,and Righteous Providence that's 438% increased crit chance,not counting other equipment.Such will result in ~37% chances to crit.

And unfortunately causing elemental status alignments is harmful for the build because it causes to lose 100% increased crit chance from RP - so Elemental Focus is key support for it to work.

Quick look - you wasted a point in Disemblowing area for +15% crit multiplier.Your Elemental Overload removes all crit multipliers.
Also Templar starting node +14 life +20% mana regeneration could be replaced by Marauder +16 life 16% increased armour node.You should not have any mana issues.

hi man, kongor ele overload works great, especially with 100% elemental conversion

However you wont deal extra crit damage, so it's totally useless to get so much crit, 20% is far enough! even rat's nest is unneeded if you use ungil's harmony + diamond ring*2! But it requires a bit of attack speed.

it will grant perma onslaught and perma elemental equilibrium ( however it wont always proc at the start of a fight)

the advantage of crit is status ailment procs!
As berserker you get mana & life leech with everything, ele damage included. So it can be a good choice. As templar inquisitor, you can get 10% penetration on most of your hits but the rest of the nodes are relatively unadapted.

So BSKER seems fine, with cloaked in savegery + aspect of carnage.

THEN you have 576% increased total phys / aoe damage (+50% when hurt badly with savage hit), and 76% as (+25 when hit recently). + 40% More damage, + 40% with ele overload.

with 209% increased life. Could get a bit 12% life in duelist area, but at the cost of good damage nodes.

Cloaked savagery is also insanely good for survivability, when your hp pool is high enough.

Shall be played with kaom's and a lot of HP items!

Physical to lightning gem + static strike or lightning strike will be great for this build, with lightning penetration. If you wish to use a fire skill, avatar of fire could be nice: in this case physical to lightning can be removed!

gloves with curse on hit elemental weakness or blasphemy
Kaom's heart
hp/res/physical damage on the gear

good boots or windscream for +1 curse if you wish to use enfeeble/temporal chain on top of elemental weakness, in this case
with elemental weakness corruption is the way to go. So you can keep mana for something else.

Again, thoses numbers include the AOE of static strike, tooltip will be lower.

it's unbuffed but with onslaught, traits triggered and elemental overload, it can be higher with frenzy charges, blood rage, gear, potions, etc.




also you will reach 6500 hp atleast, the build seems decent enough.
also, 4 jewels for life % increased and stats/damage/res
