Well to be fair, they also teased The Vault map with all of those levers. Presumably, the levers open doors which are required to be opened to continue. Those types of map mechanics combined with things like essences will definitely slow it down a bit.

But a lot of the "speed clear meta" boys buy most of their stuff from full-clear types anyway...so maybe nothing will change.

(it would be funny though if there was a map mod on gorge that added levers and doors LMAO. imagine?)
