Well, depending on the skill, your tooltip could be much less than 100k even though your real DPS is much higher.

(plus some decent rares)

I have only 65k tooltip DPS with all of my charges up.

But that's with crit poison tornado shot. Not only do I have 6 arrow explosions plus the initial volley that can each hit a boss (for 65k * 7 = 455k), but for bosses that can be cursed (ie, not The Goddess from the plaza map, or that totem from volcano map), they're taking assassin crit poison on every single hit after the first. And my poison damage (when inflicted by a crit, which is 95% of the time) is actually higher than my base damage, so it's over 1 million single-target DPS even though the tooltip shows 65k.

tl;dr make sure you're not only looking at the tooltip when concerned about your damage.

Prophecy, prophecy, prophecy, and, oh, MORE PROPHECY.

Standard prices are much, much higher.

You can buy tabula for 10-15c which is 6L and Lioneye's bow for a few chaos on std. It´s ez to get and who cares about dps anyway lol:)

Corrupt Tabulas can go as low as a few chaos, at least if memory serves.

Lightning Coil isn't a good option for mitigating physical damage. It's easier to get Immortal Call up and running than it is for Lightning Coil.

When you all say "tool tip dps", do you mean the number that shows up when you mouse over your attack choice allocation for mouse and keyboard choice, which is often the same as when you hit "c" and select an attack/defense option.

For me that number is currently at about 16k in town. In the field it can reach 20k+ if I'm fighting along side my ancestral protector totem.

Ok, I give up. You sadly don't know anything about the game mechanics otherwise you would know that "isn't a good option for mitigating physical damage" is the opposite of reality. In fact a legacy lightning coil offers the best physical dmg mitigration in the whole game!
