Stranger Things is, in my opinion, the best television (if you count Netflix as TV) this year so far. I guess I'm part of their target audience though as I grew up in the 80's but the show was really so well written, acted and directed that I doubt it mattered much.
It did the 80's homage much better than Tarantino (you know, those B-movie classics weren't enjoyable BECAUSE they were bad but DESPITE of that). Characters were well written and even likable (coming from me that's a lot). Story itself wasn't super original but it was an excellent take on the subject. 11/10 | |

I thought Stranger Things was fantastic! Lots of Alien, The Thing, and Firestarter vibes (which happen to be some of my favourite movies too), and rad music-- getting hype for that soundtrack.

It is a masterpiece already. A salute to Mr. King, Mr. Spielberg and all us nerds still rolling the dice. I love it. Especially the artwork of the logo, the music, the "vibe" (even if i got very anxious during the show. I do not know why, but it really got me on a very strange (ha!) level). And sorry wretch, i thought winona was great.
Not the best show i've seen this year (this is "bloodline"), but still something very special, strange and unique. Can't wait for season 2 (for which the producers have very special plans, as i could read, in terms of lore and shit). The Sirus fight is a disgrace.

" No worries, we all like what we like. I just couldn't help but feel she was overacting every line, I just didn't buy it. As far as nitpicks go its pretty minor one though, everything else was on point. She made me cringe a few times but its nothing in the bigger picture. Don't forget to drink your milk 👌
