Bloodlust does exactly as its description states. It's not that hard.
Yes, Bloodlust can link to Earthquake. No, Earthquake cannot apply Bleed then. Yes, Ancestral Totems work like Totems in that Totems use your offensive stats. Last edited by Vipermagi on Jul 25, 2016, 11:41:54 AM

Yes but if i link bloodlust support to totem it can benefit from the gem if i apply the bleeds myself correct?

" That's what I did with mine. I linked bloodlust to warchief along with concentrated and melee physical support gems to help me kill bosses quickly. I use earthquake to apply the bleeding with the help of voidheart. | |

Anyone tested if bloodlust works on ancestral totem on it's own? It seems to poison and bleed enemies if i have voidheart ring equipped since it uses my stats. Some users on reddit thought it might work.

" I don't understand the question. If by "on its own" you mean if only the totem is hitting the enemy, then no. It works just as though you were hitting the enemy. Bloodlust will prevent your bleed and grant you no bonus damage because nothing else is applying Bleeding (never is stronger than always). If by "on its own" you mean you put bloodlust in just the totem, then apply bleeds with your earthquake, then yes, all the above answers are saying that's a great setup and the totem gets the damage boost from Bloodlust.
