I see it becoming more a problem when you have bow/spell users killing offscreen and having the melee guy charging in front and be caught in this ring of fire occasionally and inevitably. If this happens to a devo on a red map with -max res and an ele mod you're dead even with 6k life and fortify.

Last league i died on a conservatory map with 7k life to a volatile bird! Having to stop for EVERY rare to see if it has any form of volatile is a decent choice for limiting the enjoyment of playing this game.
