5 identified rare abyssal axe make a new unidentified rare abyssal axe.
all different names, my try: total quality 33%.

try it with boots i have a feeling it works too

have a look at pathofexilewiki and you will see all known receipe.
and than you see that this can be done with all rare items

The actual vendor recipe is 5 rares of the same base type creates an unidentified rare of that base type

Yeah I just had 6 of the same rares drop. Didn't even know it was a recipe till I sold them. Yes it only took 5.

honestly this is the most annoying recipe. i always sell things wanting the currency but keep forgetting about this recipe and then i end up trading 5 useless items for one useless item and end up getting way less currency components for it.

That's not new. The only change needed is that it should read "5 unIDed rare abysmal axes = 1 new unIDed rare abysmal axe." GGG needs to be more truthful in their naming of gear.
