Ideal society
" While that's true for many things, the position breaks down here - at the point of absurdity. Those who flagrantly disregard the value of human life are called insane and institutionalized or criminal and jailed. Those who don't value their own lives tend to solve the problem for themselves instead of making society do it for them. To label calling human life valuable as 'picking values' is not really a useful or accurate label of what's happening. It's so universally "picked" that it's best described not with a verb, but with an adjective. Natural, basic, God-given, whatever you prefer. |

" Cares about the truth. --- truth you can seek, not to take care of, its whole life goal Seeks to be unbiased. --- its strictly individual and understanding starts for many with ability to describe and name feelings. Studying languages and words and its origins does "miracles" too. Tries to understand each other. --- you can never know other person and others can never know who you are but there are people who you can trust and share and vice versa Considers the impact actions have on others. --- comment below your text Remains calm rather than escalating conflict. --- react adequately is the way Strives to improve technology and understanding of the universe. --- each age brings new stuff and the way of understanding Attempts to automate as much of human labor as possible. --- automate brings new labor Places no expectations on others whom arent negatively impacting society. --- undoable; nevertheless its rather wise not to put much on mans shoulders and to have expectations realistic Makes effort to benefit everyone. --- each person has different needs "Im reminded daily just how poor our society truly is..." - change your surrounding, move to another city and stop to have contact with sources which brings you such emotions or point of view. Its rather long process - from few days/weeks to few years depends on how long you are exposed to such faulty environment. There are few books on theme you are talking about: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brave_New_World - its about Ideal Society - easy reading https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sophie%27s_World - this one is about seeking truth or at least about ways how to get closer to it; philosophy, one chapter per day is quite fair https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labyrinth_of_the_World_and_Paradise_of_the_Heart - that one is maybe first book you should read, it takes you on journey I believe you will never forget https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quo_Vadis_(novel) - that one covers many of aspects you are talking about. Some people like it, others dont, one of best books I ever red. gl Last edited by Rexeos on Jul 30, 2016, 6:20:41 PM

I'm really jealous of the Eskimo way of life. They get to go out and club baby seals all day. That sounds a lot more fun than what I've been doing with my life up to this point.

my ideal society would be:
- No religion, because, we all know religion is just... troublesome. - No drugs, because hopefully with the removal of religion, people who would be brainwashed or well, braindead from religion would focus on studying other various sciences like medicine or health... thus removing the need for Drugs in the long run - Job's are easily available (unlike they are now, seriously, fuck you australia), where, instead of needing qualifications for maniacal tasks such as construction or retail (seriously what the fuck, here in australia, most jobs require a retail certificate just to sell stuff, fuck off), you work under the wing of an experienced person, and as you gain more experience, you get more money/pay.
