Hey guys!

Here is the master thread for PoEBuilder, the best theorycrafting site for Path of Exile! www.poebuilder.com

You can use PoEBuilder to:

- Plan out a Passive Tree
- View summary statistics for your passive tree
- Create Normal Items and customize their mods
- Create Skill Gems and Support Gems
- Create Unique Items
- Import your gear from the Path of Exile main site
- View your DPS, Combined Damage per Hit, Crit, To-Hit, and Attacks Per Second
- View your Life, Mana, ES, Armour, Evasion, Block, and Dodge
- View your reservation from Auras
- Select Bandit Quests
- Save a build for later use

We’ll use this thread to keep you updated on all our latest developments.

Recent Updates

1.2.0 Patch!

Looks good so far, Maybe add a reset button, and some possible color code.

A limit of how much you can scroll in and out?

Not to be a killjoy, but what is (or rather what will be since you're still early in development) your selling point to get people to try your app instead of the offline skill calculator?

You should combine the features of offline skill calculator or even adding your own original improvements.


It is very nice, but as it was pointed out, what will be the benefits of using your app?

We actually got a ton of feedback over the past day. Thanks to everyone who used the site!

Updates today:
- Fixed a bug that prevented IE users from scrolling the map
- Fixed a bug that prevented Firefox users from scrolling the map
- Added points used to display

Working on:
- Share links to specific builds
- Better grouping of similar skill types

Here are a few things we think PoEBuilder should allow you to do, with enough development:

Make builds easily - Optimizing the graph, Notifying you of efficient node placement
Share builds - Let other people see what you have created
Give feedback - Comment on what other people are doing, upvote things you like
Keep track of your builds - Make sure your favorite builds never get lost, keep them handy (esp when you get a sick drop that enables one)
See the best builds - Builds that get the best feedback should be easy to see!

We've still got a lot of development to do, but we think a website is the right choice to provide all of those features.

PoEBuilder is in active development! We'll post all of our updates to this thread. Let us know what you think!

I didn't, I just died =). Twice =). With the same Freezing Pulse Crit build that didn't have enough health right around slums in Act 3 Normal =).

I have this Ranger now who I don't like very much, but I am also trying out this Whirling Blades Marauder with Resolute Technique. Pewpew.

Why is this not stickied?

Someone with the power to sticky this, sticky it.

They should just make a Forum section for PoE tools. That'd be nice.

Updates:

- Skill groups: Now your bonuses are grouped by relevant categories.
- Share link: You can share a build by using the share link box on the left panel.

Known Bugs (which we're actively working on):

- Heart of the Gladiator does not accurately update Life Bonus
- Cannot pan around entire skill tree at certain zoom levels
- Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence bonuses to other stats (mana, mana regen, accuracy, etc.) are not calculated

IF YOU BELIEVE A SKILL IS MISSING FROM A SKILL GROUP, PLEASE ENTER IT INTO THE FEEDBACK FORM! We can fix it really easily, just need your feedback.

YOU CAN USE BUILDS THAT YOU HAVE SAVED FROM THE OFFLINE TOOL OR FROM THE MAIN SITE. Just take the long string of characters and symbols at the end of the URL and append it to www.poebuilder.com/#character/. Then you can easily view it in PoEBuilder!

If you have suggestions for more features, please leave it in the feedback for or post it on this forum thread! (We're aware of Reset Skill Tree atm, but not much else!)

Updates:

- Speed: The site should work much faster on all browsers now.
- Post to Forum Link: Now you can post a build directly to pathofexile.com forums if you like it. Share some builds!
- Chain Learning: You can select a skill that is further into the skill tree; PoEBuilder will find the shortest path to that skill and automatically select every skill along the way!

Coming Up:

- Inventory Manager: We're working on a comprehensive inventory manager that will allow you to import your character, add new gear, reroll gear pieces, and view the set of bonuses your items will give you. We're halfway through development, everything should be live in a few days!

If the site is still working slowly for you, please leave feedback in the feedback form. Let us know as much as you can about your computer specs, what you were doing when the site slowed down (zooming out, dragging around, loading, etc).
