New To POE and want some help please.

Hello I am new to his game. And i was wondering if anybody could help me in my objective to find a crit build that i can follow. I have tried looking at builds to find one that suits me but i always get confused on how to accomplish them or how they work and what infromation i need to know. I was wondering if any one out there was wanting to help me to go about getting this type themed character. I am looking for a crit build for shadow. Thank you.

Your best bet is the list of builds in the Shadow section of the forum. Most builds featured in the list are well laid out in terms of what you need to do, but you will want to look for one that says it's budget friendly (not relying on a bunch of uniques) with a progression of skill trees to follow as you level.

Look for the listing of gems as well (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Skill_gem), as it is not always obvious at what level you can get the build gems or even if your class can buy them at all.

It's a secondary character so I'm only at level 66 so far and I do not have the recommended unique, but it still shreds the content I've been running. I'm using 2 crafted spell daggers rather than dagger and shield, and I have a couple of other self found uniques equipped. It's SpinningLure from my character list.
