What is F8 meant to do? Is it toggling a video capture/streaming program that you're running? If so I'd argue that program is at fault for interfering with the games rendering code in order to capture/stream the video data for the recording/stream.

F8 is the (default) key for the built-in screenshot feature within Path of Exile. They get saved to the My Games\Path of Exile\Screenshots directory.
The feature takes an abnormally long time to capture and save a screenshot (even to SSD) and I have seen it crash the game on rare occasion (more likely, cause you to take damage waiting for it to finish). |
