Ice shot mechanics question
Searched wiki, but didn't find what I was looking for. When fighting single target, you hit the enemy with arrow and then the cone is generated behind that enemy starting at the point where it hit the enemy. Does the cone itself damage that initial target? Or is cone completely useless when fighting single targets (bosses for example)? I mean, does initial target get damage from both arrow and cone or only from arrow?

" I see, thanks. So logically it is not worth investing into cone itself (like AoE damage) because packs of monsters die quickly anyway. The bigger problem is tough bosses. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" - Edmund Burke

Something like that, fortunately AoE bonuses aren't common enough to be a good scaling source so you don't have to overthink it, just stack projectile damage, bow damage or whatever you normally do.
