pale court

I had a guy do the pale court for me when I couldnt manage it myself and had 2 portals left, when I was told to enter there was no council unique dropped, is this possible or did the person cheat me out of the unique.

According to the wiki one of the council items drops everytime depending on which lord you kill last.

Sorry to say, but you got cheated. The last boss killed always drops an unique. The mace seems to be more common, a few chaos on poe trade, the bow is a few ex.

It drops 1 of the 4 council unique 100% of the time.

Only the bow is really worth scamming over so I am pretty sure the bow dropped and he kept it.

Also yea, go run more prophecy chains to try again.

Some people in my guild are claiming theres been reports of pale court failing to produce drops. I find that unlikely out of 1000s of people who have done the run that the 1 I had didnt produce a drop and I cant find a single post of people making this claim.

There was (and still is?) a bug where enemies didn't drop items if their killer no longer existed. Eg: enemy gets ignited by flame totem, flame totem dies, then enemy dies from burning.

Not sure it has been fixed, though. Next time, to be on the safe side, get someone to run it for you who self-casts their skills.

It ALWAYS drop at least one unique.

I can kill the archer last, there goes your bow... EZ I did 2/2 bow drops then for a friend mace. Either puuuure luck but I think item is locked who you kill...
I know of some buying sets, selling bow and pam! 3 ex plus... Too broken to even remotely try that.
