Placing a Totem considered a cast ???

Does placing/summoning a totem count as casting ? Would the avoid interruption from stuns while casting mechanic be working when placing a totem ?

No, it isn't casting, it's placing, just like you throw a trap or lay a mine.

raics is correct; just tested it in game. Looks like my knowledge in that other thread was out-of-date.

Yeah in regards to the other thread I knew cast speed didn't affect the speed at which you placed the totem but I didn't know if the avoid interruption while casting passive nodes would protect me when placing totem but now I know ! Time to respect those 3 points ;).
