WHIRLING BLADE SHOULD BE A 2H SWORD SKILL TOO/give 2hswords a new aoe skill pls

leap slam suck for sword as it it designed for big hits weapons like hammers and axes. With the new sunder and earthquake i think it is fair to give 2h swords whirling blades.

Alternatively 2h swords need a new AOE skill. EQ is op and all swords have is icecrash right now but it been nerfed from beta and nowhere as good as EQ/sunder.

EQ never been nerfed but icecrash is?



SO to resum my drunkish post:

Give whirling blade to 2h for move skill.
create a new AOE skill for 2h swords

To be completely honest, the problem with 2h swords is a lot less about skill selection and a lot more about inferior passive nodes on the tree. All the builds that have access to even remotely decent ones could get a lot more efficiency and/or effect simply by going mace or axe instead. Except a few fringe cases, 2h Swords may as well not exist in the game (in current patch).

Swords got Lacerate recently.

But yeah. I wish 2h swords had WB and also Reave, not sure why those are restricted to 1h only.

Conceptually, they are supposed to be fast/light attacks as opposed to the slow/heavy attacks that most red melee gems are. In practice, it's a different animal altogether...

Most of the people using WB aren't even melee so I don't think that making it work with 2h swords would be that farfetched. Also, Lacerate sucks.
