Projectile Damage + Essence Drain

Does Essence drains DoT scale with projectile damage or does only the initial hit do so?

Edit: It does, as you can quickly tell by its tooltip.
Silly me first tested on a character with avatar on fire and was disappointed the tooltip not showing anything. -.-

Essence Drain mentions spell damage because its an exception to normal

There's a ton of precedent for "applied-by-dot" to benefit from proj damage bonus, such Explosive Arrow - when you smack an enemy in the face no projectiles are applying anything

Tlsr yes ED is boosted by proj

It apply no doubt about this as for Dot of Caustic Arrow and burning damage of explosion of Explosive arrow , don't forget than we haven't Dot node in skilltree and not chaos damage node before so only boost damage was by projectile boost and/or fire damage boost for explosive arrow , but GGG said that spell/attack boost will no boost dot damage.

So they add "Spell apply to Dot" for essence drain and vortex.
