OBS question

So, I'm just trying to record a quick video to show my friend this build. I can't seem to start the recording while tabbed into the game, but if I tab out and start then tab in it's fine. Anybody know how to fix? I'd rather not have to tab in/out each time I wanna start a recording. It only happens on this game so I'm posting this here assuming others have had this problem too.

/e Running OBS as admin fixed the problem.
