Do you think its unfair how useless the ascendancy made Scion in this game?

Well she has something the Templar,Marauder and Witch don't have... Pants and Shoes. xD And well some people don't mind being sub-optimal. But really though she needs better Ascendancy Picture.

Yes Scion has sex appeal aswell.

But its not exactly a replacement for her trash ascendancy. Its true to many people they play scion for pants aswell, marauder looks like an utter joke with his bear skirt.

Maybe. You should try playing to see. I don't see how that is anywhere close to as good as playing just plain Necromancer or even Guardian. But maybe you are seeing something no one else is seeing, since Scion is the least played character by the mile in this league.

That's the point with Scion. She's not supposed to be outperform dedicated "Pure" versions of builds unless you spend alot of stuff or have the patience to readjust once you get the necessary passive refunds.

Regarding that..I mistyped it as Hierophant. Guardian/Necromancer is definitely good with an Aura-Heavy SRS Summoner Scion.

Please don't give me "point of a character" nonsense. This game is about focusing, it has always been about that. Scion pre-ascendancy was able to focus, so she was good. Scion post-ascendancy does not have focus, so she is crap.
People rarely ever use 2 separate skills for this same reason, they focus all that power on a 5 to 6 link. Character building is the same way. You focus on what advantages your character has, and the biggest issue is Scion has no advantages.

Once again, you should really try out Scion if you think she is the best with that Aura based Summoner nonsense build you speak of. There is a reason why she is unplayed this league.
