Heatshiver art

First I must say I really love the game and most of the art is amazing. But the design and art of almost all headgear is ugly as hell. Most of the helmets and stuff look like an old steel bucket plugged on the characters shoulders or just awful in any other way. The only nice looking piece of headgear was Heatshiver until Prophecy. Many of my chars used it just because everything else looked ridiculous. Now Heatshiver got 3D art and is ugly like hell, too. Is buying vanishing dye really the only possibility to avoid ugly heads?!
