Been doing Prophecies for 12 hours now.

I've totally changed my mind on this league, too. It's got a lot of potential, but GGG somehow thought people would enjoy going out of their way to stop farming maps and backtrack instead. The fated unique prophecies in particular could've been amazing. Whatever you're supposed to kill should spawn in a map and drop the unique without you having to equip the non-fated version. Imagine getting random Daressos in your maps. Now that would be cool.

The problem with prophecies are they are either;

1. far too easy. Not fun, just a waste of time to go back 2 acts, zone in and kill a few easy mobs for very little XP and profit.

2. nearly impossible due to randomness restrictions. How many "kill inner treasure mob and get two uniques" do I need? I think I've seen 1 inner treasure in the last 3 leagues. So I have to see the mob before accidentally killing it, go back to town, slot the sealed prophecy, go back to the mob, kill it and get 2 total crap uniques for my trouble. sounds great.


Above all, my biggest gripe is that when I am in A1, please stop giving me end A4 prophecies and then charging 12-15 silver to seal it for later. That's bullshit. There should be a maximum 1 act ahead rule for the things.

This league is worse than talisman.

I never thought I'd be saying that.

What we need is for the fat man to be a part of every future league but only sell leveling uniques up to level 40 or so and a league gimmick that properly allows us to increase difficulty for greater rewards - similar to chaos map spam but in a more enjoyable way.

I just ignore the Prophecies.

It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO stupid to give lvl 90+ character who does t12-15 maps some bullshit quest to go to A2 merciless and 1shot some random garbage.

I truly cannot believe that some game designer actually thought of this atrocious "gameplay", u just can't be THAT stupid.

They should've separated her. If u take Prophs in town she gives u all kind of garbage to go be delivery boy and run all over the place. But if u invite her to HO then she gives u Prophs that u can do while mapping... SO U DON'T HATE HER AS MUCH ;)


GGG fucked this league real nice. Great idea, absolutely horrible implementation.

It's like I'm playing standard with fresh economy, ZERO new content, ZERO! Oh yeah ok u can go oneshot whole council room in about split second.. great.

Give me NEW content while mapping, random OP ambush from chests, maps full of beyond monsters with ridiculous mods, Warbands jumping u from nowhere... etc etc... BUT... we get frogs... sigh........ I'm just... yeah.... no thx.
