To the [Removed by Support] who buy boxes

lolol.

You buy the boxes, don't realize it is a total scam and complain when you get 10 duplicates. Or spend $300 and still don't get the full item set.

Not a scam anyway....it's very plain how the boxes work, it's the same in any game that has them, they have done them before in PoE.

Just idiots that have buyers remorse and are not trying to come up with excuses and "fixes" for something that dose not need it.

If there are numerous items in the boxes that I want but don't have, AND the ones I want are far more common in the possibilities than the ones I don't want, I will buy a couple boxes and see what I get.

I do think the mystery boxes should have a better way to generate less duplicates that a player already has. Less buyer remorse equals more sales down the road.

In an ideal world GGG wouldn't have these mystery box events due to not enough people buying them. But if even only 1k suckers bought 200-300$ worth I can imagine GGG makes a ton of money off these.

There's no fix for poor financial management, a lack of understanding of basic probability theory and gambling addiction.
The Wheel of Nerfs turns, and builds come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the build that gave it birth comes again.
I've "only" spent $100 on boxes so far, and I've gotten 5 pairs of the Obsidian Seraph Boots and 3 of the Gloves. Along with that I've gotten a shitload of other MTX I just don't want. Was I frustrated when I got 4 extra pairs of Boots and 2 of Gloves, when all I needed was the Armour? Yes. Very much so.

But fuck it, I took that gamble. Personally, though, I'd like for there to be some kind of exchange system. I'd gladly trade the $80 worth of MTX I got that I don't want, just for the Armour.

oh well... rng loot boxes is the new trend everywhere... even in that *vomit* overhype game.

companies thirst over cash like vampires thirst over blood.
