Lab is impossible for someone

This is probably unrelated, but I have 2 cats at home, and they do wonders for hairs and dust in my fans.

My work laptop had an issue where it would throttle my cpu from 3200 down to 400 and up again (but mostly down)

Turns out the fans were clogged with cathairs and dust. The Dell representative wondered at all the cat hairs, and replaced the fans -> problem solved.

I now regularly use a can of spray air to keep them clean...

Yeah might be... My working area (I use my laptop at work as well) is a bit dusty..
I will try to clean it again. Thanks

OK as I mentioned I am no good with computers.
(don't know how to upload pictures)

So when I turn my MSI after burner
Core voltage(mV) shows nothing
Powr limit (%) shows nothing
Core Cock (MHz) is +0
Memory Clock (MHz) +0
Fan Speed (%) shows nothing.

so I should lower Core Clock? to how much?

Last time I tried I changed Core Clock to -20.
Is this the right way doing it?
Dont lower it just hit default to bring it to the factory clock speeds, then launch. If that doesnt work i would restart again, do a fresh install of you driver to make sure that nothings broken or corrupted.

Ok will try that once I get off my work.
Thanks
I had the same issues, when i was playing on a laptop some years ago. After some testing

i found out that the OS switches between the dedicated graphics card and the build in

graphics from the cpu on every loadingscreen. I then deactivated the powersaving options and

also the cpu graphics. Worked fine from there on.

Hi Thanks for the reply
Can you tell me a bit more about how you done that.
(not good with computers.)

So deactivating means to turn off power saving?
Thanks in advance

Reason is I often have "Display driver not responding" error.
I didn't have this problem till last year and had to rest for a year.
I came back in the hope that his issue might have been fixed.
But no... guess nobody cares about people getting this message.

I have done everything I can to prevent this (I even changed my GPU, power supply, motherboard etc..)
I have followed every instruction on the forum.
Nothing works.

I have a friend who plays with me which has a much older and crappy computer but he never gets this problem.

I have searched for fixing this problem for days and found

1. Many other games do have identical problems

2. Other games respond (Devs themselves or Tech team) to the issue and suggest a solution

3. There are at least 6 thread in POE forum about this issue

4. No one from GGG has ever replied nor gave any solutions

I am not good with computer, I have many other games with higher requirements than POE
but everything runs smooth (FarCry4, Fallout4, Witcher2 etc..)
And please don't tell me every game is different, I know POE uses more power than other games and thats why I changed my power supply to deal with that. My computer was even sent to a well known expert engineer who only deals with gaming computers (which cost me roughly $80). He told me my system is overqualified to play POE.

I just want some answer from GGG if you could give me one to enjoy POE
I really want to farm the" Lab" without worrying about this every single time

Thanks in advance
i bet that you are running on a AMD gpu
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

Yes, turn out powersavings. would even be better to turn off cpu graphics in the bios.(when

you don't know how to do it, google it for your laptop model. Some models don't support it)

And you should also go to your nVidia panel '3D-Settings' and change

'Multi-Display/Mixed-Acceleration' ( i guess it's named like that, running german version)

to 'Single Display Acceleration'.

Hope this helps.

Ok since this morning here are things I have done.
1. Clean the Fan
2. Change Power settings on NVIDIA
3. Wiped all POE related files
4. Full install of POE from the scratch
5. Used AfterBurner to make default settings
6. Full reinstallation of GPU driver

Hope this gets things fixed a bit

If this doesn't help I might do the following options
1. Reinstallation of Windows
2. Take it to the shop
3. Buy a new laptop

I hope I don't have to go to #3......

Thanks everyone who suggested all the things

I'm running on an 840m, for people who think laptops can't really run the game. It isn't 2006 anymore. Laptops are actually pretty good.
