GGG is in the proverbial "between a rock and a hard place" with PoE. PoE has a ton of rough edges and so to keep going financially GGG must push out new content as fast as possible (now just over 3 months from Perandus to Prophecy) so they don't lose a large quantity of players. Once prospective new players get wind that PoE is not a new and cutting edge arpg then they are dead (perception is everything). To that end GGG has very little time to come up with new skills and create the animation and test it all in only 3 months. So GGG has to rework an existing skill's animation and tweak it some to be able to say they have new skills for each league. Not surprising that many skill's animations look very similar.

Give it a few patchs we will have beams like kamehameha.

Lightning breathe you know lol or maybe Li Ming's disintegrate.
The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

patch 4.3 you mean XD

They are only at 2 ancestral totem

Ancestral protector and ancestral war chief aka ancestral protector+splash

They still have plenty of support gem to mixt with ancestral protector and release it saying its a brand new skill
