currency tab might be as close as it gets, but that's pay for convenience. not exactly win. close though.

It's actually a subscription based game: The longer you play, the more stash tabs you need.

seeing even streamer pcs struggle to keep up fps in perandus packs frost besrer beyond and so on you can say that some builds are limited to having a really good computer

mtx are no pay to win i got ~30 stashtabs or so i wont buy the currency one..dont see the fuss about it it just sorts my orbs so what as a temp league only player the amount of orbs i can farm is limited anyway

The only thing even close to this I can think of is premium stash tabs making selling items easier. And that would be a HUGE stretch. Those aren't needed to sell things, just takes longer without. All I do is pay the $5 for a tab and be done with it.

The definition of "P2W" is very.. unclear.
Some think, being able to pay real money to get slight advantages is p2w, some think it isn't.

In that case, most games are p2w. Hell, just look at all these annoying orb sellers for real money - Is that considered as p2w? Hard to tell.

In the "legal" way, POE is most likely not p2w. Everything you can buy is pretty much stupid - Yes, I am stupid as well then.
The only things that are useful are stash tabs/ prem. stash tabs/ currency stash tabs and maybe char. slots/ guild member slots and stash tabs.

Do you need anything of it? Uhm, yeah. You need stash tabs. But it is up to you if you decide to pay 15$/13€ during a sale to get the extra convenience. You can live without it. But you won't be able to hoard any useful uniques, you need to sell them asap. You can't store anything for a long time.

These should be at least 2 more stash tabs for new players, getting them after the first malachai kill or during leagues or something. This way, some guys will stop crying about "poe = p2w". But they don't have to - because you don't really need them so much.


TlDr: Kinda - In the end, it is convenience only. You will still die as often, you won't deal any more damage, you will never get more currency directly. Only indirectly via trading, and I am personally never selling anything unless it is a high cost unique.
