Saboteur - Bomb Specialist Traps

Right now, the Bomb Specialist node in the Saboteur ascendancy gives the passive, "10% chance for traps to trigger an additional time". And how it currently functions is once the trap triggers, it has a chance to re-arm before having to be triggered by a mob again.

Whilst it is a nice addition, I feel it is mostly useless. Having played an ice trapper for most of Perandus, I don't find it that useful as you have to run around to get mobs to walk back into your trap, which was one of the things that Chain Reaction solved for cluster/multi trap, but with just one or maybe rarely two traps re-arming it's such a pain to actually re-use the traps as opposed to throwing another set.

However, one thing I did find useful was the effect of an Echoing Shrine on traps. The effect was it actually caused the trap to occur twice, for example ice trap would trigger once then once again straight after (like spell echo). I feel like having the Bomb Specialist passive function like this would actually make it of some use. Not only that, but it seems to make more sense this way, otherwise it should be something like "10% chance for traps to re-arm" or something similar to Tremor Rods "Mines can be Detonated an additional time".

As for how it would affect trap builds now, I feel it would benefit the majority, if not all, of trappers. Most of them who go Saboteur would prefer the trap to trigger again as opposed to waiting for it to trigger by a mob. I'm not sure how currently interacts with 100% reduced duration trappers, but if it acts like Tremor Rod, which does not reset the duration of the trap, they currently will not get a second trap, so would buff those builds. As for the rest of the trappers, those who do take the Saboteur ascendancy would most likely prefer it to automatically trigger anyway.

Regardless of how it affects current builds, it still is only a 10% chance which is quite small and quite a small change in overall damage per trap, but changing it would make it go from a basically pointless line in the passive to at least some use.

tl;dr change Bomb Specialist under the Saboteur Ascendancy to automatically trigger the trap again like spell echo, keeping the % chance, or perhaps re-label the line to make it clear it actually re-arms the trap instead of actually triggering again.

E: I guess you could argue that throwing another set of traps would allow it to trigger with the new set, making it 5 or 6 traps with cluster trap, but the number of times I've seen stragglers walking around a re-armed trap is probably greater than the effectiveness of the extra trap when I throw 4 down at once.

I still stand by pretty much everything i said. The only time i felt the nodes to be good from Saboteur was on Desecrate and Detonate Dead traps.

To further elaborate on that statement. DD and Desecrate work great with Saboteur because its dealing % based damage, soo the best way to get more damage in this case is with extra procs and more CDR.

The biggest point of the build, 4L Vaal DD obliterates any boss. Literally just one shots any boss. The more and quicker you get bodies out the quicker youll have enough bodies to use your Vaal DD trap and send them to the moon.
