I'm experiencing frequent disconnects from PoE. I will be kicked from the game and returned to the main menu, and I will have to log in again to continue playing. This happens seemingly randomly every 3-15 minutes. It tends to happen more when lots of stuff is going on (it seems) as opposed to if I'm just standing still. This could just be coincidence, though.
I've reinstalled PoE with no success at solving this problem. I've also added it to the "Excluded Processes" in Microsoft Security Essentials, to no avail. In addition, friends of mine have played PoE without any disconnect problems in my apartment (and, consequently, on my router) without any issues, which implies that this is a problem with my system specifically. Do you have any gamer/internet boosting utilities like ASUS GameFirst, or Razer Comms? Disable or uninstall them. Also make sure your browsers are closed when playing, as they are usually configured to use a lot of resources.
The MTR results look fine. Do you currently run in Predictive or Deterministic Lockstep networking mode? Force Lockstep mode in the options, then repeat the disconnection while watching the F1 graphs. Does the disconnection happen after a drop in FPS? Does Latency show a flatline or go incredibly high? Please run dxdiag and then Save all information..., and copy that to a pastebin. Thanks. |
