How to pick which cosmetic effect is displayed please!

Hello,

I have mercury foot prints from helm item and gore footprints from chest item. I only ever have on the mercury from helm but I really want to use the gore from the chest. Please help. I want to use both items but cant find a way to prioritize the gore foot prints. These effects are on the items and not from micro transactions. How can i pick which effects to show if my char has more than one on at a time.
