Not Blunt Instrument, as Varunastra doesn't count as a Staff. The other two clusters are must-haves though.

Honestly if you were pathing up the right side to grab sanctuary or tireless, you might as well grab blunt instrument too. 2 or 3 points for 3% atk speed + 28% inc damage + 40% armor is pretty worth for most builds. Not a must have, but worth picking up if you're in the area.

The by the blade and deadly dilettante clusters give massive amounts of damage already though, so varunastra builds get to pick up more defensive nodes in comparison with other builds.

Edit: Or you could just pick up the mace, axe and sword clusters on the bottom left of the tree, for a really really really ridiculous amount of damage.
