Melee skills looks too much like spells

Playing melee or a caster have almost no diference besides the range, because most of melee skills looks like spells, with all those lights efects.
What i really wanted to see is more iron efefects on melee skills, iron sounds, blades, not shinning lights. More spikes, bone shattering, blades, blood is OK, more metal.
Like sweep skill, make is show a bigger axe or Hammer than u have if aoe is bigger on skill efect.
Dual strike could have more animation if u hold the attack, making a sequence of diferent attacks.
And u could make a vaal flicker strike, like that skill "Seven sided strike" from that game. Would be awesome. Because i at least really wanted to see more vaal melee skills. Yes earthquake could be or have one, like a long duration following earthquake.
Ill let this post for constructive reasons. Any ideas are welcome.

Faak ye. We sure need a zweihander and a better cyclone animation. I cant even see my weapon when i use that skill.
