Linking Steam account with POE account

Hi,

I wanted to open a shop on POE but i needed a POE account. I tried linking my new account with steam thinking it will keep my steam account. But it replaced my steam account with the new POE account.

Is it possible to reverse or cancel the delete of my steam account ?

PS : When you play on steam only, i now assume there is an account specially created for it ?
