Ping is higher than normal

Hey there suffering same issue on Australia Gateway.

maybe because MTR results are often met with "Oh you need to change your ISP". (You're obviously right, but that sarcasm brings me bad memories).

But here we are, another thread about AU lag issues where the precious fragile flower that the POE network servers are, seems to be the only thing not working.

I originally quit the game a long time ago because after an update, suddenly my ISP had nothing better to do but screw network interactions with POE and its customers. It is really a hard pill to swallow, as what is more likely happening is that the AU gateway has lowered in its players and now it's more cost effective to reduce server capacity and somehow mess up and lose valuable paying customers, apparently.

Fast forward to now, I am sensing the same signs, the season is dying off, Telstra customers are both lagging and not lagging. I'm not complaining, just hoping this isn't a last priority for GGG, as I love the game very much and don't want to be forced out due to persistent lag issues.

Maybe AU doesn't spend enough in the in-game market, but please make it a priority so we can spend our coins!!!
It looks like a routing issue for ingress traffic to the Melbourne Datacenter from Telstra and Optus networks.

I've escalated this to our provider, and I suspect they will update some routing advertisements or contact Telstra/Optus to get them to fix it on their end.
