I've never heard of people chaining poorjoys for XP farm while Gorge is the go-to map for this purpose. Also, you're asking the wrong question. The correct question is 'which gives more XP per hour'.
The Wheel of Nerfs turns, and builds come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the build that gave it birth comes again.

Poor joys if you can do it effectively 80-90(?), before then dried lake. After would be in ascending order Strand, Jungle Valley, Gorge, Plateau, Arid Lake, Tier 11's then Springs for all the maps before High (Red) Tier maps.

Well, that's the big fucking issue. You'll need something like 10k+ hitpoints (wild guess) to flashfarm it without caring about getting hit by detonate dead.

Is this correct?

I think plat gives more exp than arid lake. Lake should be before gorge.

Turnip
Arid Lake should be less exp than plateau imo.

At L89 poorjoy and T9s give the same amount of exp after penalty and inc exp adjustments.

Before L89 poorjoy is better, and after L89 T9s are better.

poorjoys gives amazing XP. issue is to clear it fast enough to make it worth your while, and to do so without dying

There you go again matrix, bringing math into an opinion contest.

You have to normalize for relative mob number between the two maps though, I think poorjoy probably has a lot more mobs per map than a standard T9.

Yes, and it has a much worse layout than an A-grade T9, and the detonate dead necromancers can instakill most builds meaning you'll probably have to be super slow and careful when you do it.
