Question about Consecrated Ground

If you are talking about the Inquisitor it states there is a 25% chance that CG is cast when hit (meaning when "you" the player is hit) and cast on kill (when you kill something). It does not specify how the enemy has to die so it would work with a spell or an attack.

Its also worth noting these 2 uniques.

Zahndethus' Cassock
-has 100% chance to cast CG when you block

Gifts from Above
-has 100% chance to cast CG when you crit
(this creates CG at the spot of the crit or where the monster was at the time)

The only other way to make CG is with the new utility potion coming out that increases your damage as well. And I would assume it creates it under your character.

This bothers me so much and severely limits the functionality of the inquisitor node.

Given the current game-state. It would be glorious if it was an aura on your character for the duration, allowing movement while under it's effect without losing the benefits.

Peace,

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
so basically this line of nodes is 100% USELESS compared to the new items/flask.

Once again Templar's get the shaft.
I plan on going with an inquisitor to try these specific nodes out. I'll be going crit with gifts from above. The CG by itself won't be very ideal and you'll have to use spells or skills like lightning strike to spread out the CG. Then place yourself in a good position to get the benefits, or use the utility potion. I'm looking forward to it.
