More and more dmg numbers?

If we get new and interesting game mechanic , people cry it's too OP and needs to be " fixed "

When we get new gear and deal more damage people cry that the character progression is not interesting enough .

Is it just me or people complain for the sake of complaining nowadays ?

Was there ever a time when this wasn't they case? I doubt it. It is part of what makes us human.

seeing as how d3 has damage numbers approaching the trillions: no, I don't think poe is doing the same thing.
Ah sigh OP hasn't even touched D3 in ages to see it's been about billions to trillions.

If numbers fit into screen they are not big enough. Blizzard did same thing with WoW before. They said something about players loving see BIG NUMBERS and easier game balance.
PoE have fixed 100 lvl cap so it's unlikely to happen.

lvl 100 cap but..

now theres a second tree with more points to get

so we passing lvl 100 kinda like paragon lvls

I don't need big numbers. The small numbers together can do great things...

Even with ascendancy it's still linear progression unlike D3/WoW/Borderlands/etc where it's exponential.
Such progression is more about gear, not skills/talents/perks/whatever. For example if POE had exponential-like progression at lvl 90 all chests would had 100k ES.
Never enough for DPS and Tanky !!
