Im convinced that Ive been singled out

So since posting that i took a short break, came back, revamped some of my gear, putting myself at around 4600 life, and 100 Es. My DPS suffered, but that doesnt matter since i also started taking maps slowwer, and doing lower tier maps, not that it matetrs since i have yet to drop any maps over tier 9 naturally... Literally every map that ive run over tier 9 was a zana daily, or given to me by someone who pitied me in game.

So, i added almost 1k to my total original life, i started playing maps safely, and i gained 1 level. then, bullshit happened. running low tier maps at 87 gives shit xp, everyone knows that, less then 3% xp per map run, meaning i have to run nearly 40 maps to gain 1 level. But my last few maps have been nothing but pure BS.

Im playing voltaxic crit, so im immune to reflect, i have capped res, and close to 50% chance to evade attacks. So in one of my recent maps i fired off a volley into a pack that was off-screen, and died instantly. There was no bleed on me, and even if there was no way that could have killed me instantly, the map wasnt reflect (but im reflect immune anyways), and the map had no crit/extra damage/curses. So I have to wonder, how? What mob, in a low tier map, instakills me for killing it? what mob, that i cant even see because its off screen, one shots me from an effective 4700 hp? through leech, flasks, and evasion?

and ive been doing tests, this happens CONSISTENTLY when im making progress in game. And i dont mean through drops, because... i dont get any. In this league ive gotten one single good item worth selling, and no one wants it.



Its that. I linked it in under 10 fusings, didnt feel like pushing my luck to 6l it.


But really... I have a small amount of IIR, i make sure most of my maps have at least 90+ IIQ, so how am i getting NOTHING for drops? Not even div cards. An item designed exclusively TO BE FARMED at a consistent rate. Meanwhile there are lower level players then me, who havnt even gotten to mapping linking 6L shavs in chat.

that is a load of SHIT. You cant sit here and tell me that RNG is going ot balance out "eventually" when theres only a month left in the league and i still need to complete 11 challenges. Let me be clear, i CANT do the leagues content becuase im being brick walled form it.

According to people in game it takes 125 talismans to make ONE attempt at ridgwald. And even figuring in the wierd 3-2-2-2-1 math, that REQUIRES at least 3 or more 80+ talismans per level. meaning i have to run 125+ level 80 maps, THAT I DONT HAVE BECUASE THE GAME WONT DROP ANY. And thats for ONE ridgewald item. there are 2 i dont have. Not to mantion the ID challenge, or the square, or killing bosses...

and i get it, they are challenges! they are meant to be hard! Oh wait, you had peopel who had 32/32 in less then a week, glad to see the game is pay to win.


And dont say im burnt out on this game, im not "burnt out" im pissed off, im angry that im being cut off from any and all end game content. And you know what, i still stand by my theory that GGG is intentionally cutting me off becuase i raised a fuss over the fact it took them 6 months to ship a T-shirt they said would take less then a week. the funny part is when it finally arrived it was postmarked for 3 days before it arrived, so dont BS me. And as a side note, i happen to know someone who works in the local post office, i know how long it takes for them to get the mail out, ive gotten detailed information and know the exact route the mail takes.


TL;DR: Stop blocking the endgame content from me ggg.

Its not P2W, if you want to use external means to acquire wealth to complete the challenges and likely get caught that is up to you, but GGG doesn't sell you the means to complete the challenge, so don't call it something it isn't.

Not pay to win eh? Im sure all those streamers who gain early access to content, frequently get high roll items, 6L in only a dozen fusings, and never have any trouble in game whatsoever will disagree.

Also as a fun fact, last time i purchased somethign through GGG's store (directly, and not through steam) the next item that dropped was a koams heart. Interesting coincidence no? I ended up selling it immedietly to fill out a build on standard. Other then that ONE situation, ive never had any truly GG uniques or rares drop. Ever. People getting shavs in less then a week after league start, people having 32/32 challenegs complete (soemthign like a 50+ ex value when buying in game) in the first week, etc. Those only reinforce how poorly the loot system is set up, and how much im being screwed out of game content. even in this league im getting fewer rare drops, despite having at least some degree of MF, not a lot, but enough to note.

Not all streamers get early access to content, those that do are alpha members and help with the racing balance. They weren't chosen because they were streamers, they were chosen for whatever reasons they were selected, pvp, racing, general game knowledge.

Streamers play more then you or I likely, therefore they have much more time on their hands so its no surprise to me that they almost always have more wealth.

I got my 2nd 6 link, first ever in a temp league this past league, in 7 fuses. After 21 jewelers. I guess it really is p2w, although I haven't purchased a supporter pack in a while.

You got a kaom heart right after buying an MTX, well damn p2w confirmed. /s

I've only had 2 GG uniques drop, they both have been taste of hate (which now that I think about it, it really does fit my personality) one was in flashback or the other 1 month and one was in this league. Yet I ended tempest with ~30ex pure, never finding those large items and completing various builds.

The 32 in first week, which i'm not entirely sure was technically even possible has to due with playing the economy, if you rather do that and then play the game so be it. Sometimes money isn't actually involved and its just promises to pay back, this does happen with streamers sometimes as well.

I've never relied on this game handing me shit, everything I have is from small wealth built up over time. Trying not to die also helps a lot in HC temp league.

They're definitely out to get you.

When players are close to leveling devs join their games and take control of monsters. They also bias the received damage roll to be higher when you're close to leveling.

Drops are improved when you buy GGG points, stream, or right after spending lots of currency crafting. Trading/giving away your currency works too. It's like eating all of the donuts to prove you're innocent. Always works.

You need to break apart the rocks on your front lawn to check for listening devices, or just stuff them all in your neighbours mailbox to be safe. It also helps if you surround your command center in a wire cage.

Humans are really good at spotting patterns. It's a survival instinct. "This is the area that the deer always graze." Or "This is the luckiest place to fish." There are of course underlying reasons for those examples, "that place in the forest has good shade and open sight lines to where predators are", or "that particular bend in the river has a slower current at the curve that is populated by more bugs, so more feed for the fish" etc.
We didn't need to know those reasons, we just used our pattern recognition to see that "This was the best spot". It was a very useful ability.

But that was thousands of years ago, when we needed to survive in the wild. Modern day life is so complicated by comparison. Our pattern recognition ability can quite often be a problem, not a solution. We see patterns everywhere and it can drive us insane. From the benign "This is my lucky t-shirt" to the downward spiral or paranoia and depression that is "The entire world is against me."

We, as modern humans, must constantly battle in our own minds. What is coincidence? What is reality? And, unlike every other problem in life, the more you try to solve it the worse it gets.

So here you go:
There is no conspiracy here.
You are imagining it.
GGG is not trolling you because of a t-shirt.
Chalk this league up as a loss, take a break, move on, play something else for a couple of weeks.
Come back for ascendancy.
