Voltaxic or non-legacy Windripper?

Hi Community,

in the next league I want to do a build with Lightning Arrow + Blast Rain, as almost everybody in this league. o.O :D

There are two choices: Voltaxic of course and a non-legacy Windripper. Both cost almost the same.

1. With which weapon its easier/cheaper to gear?

2. Which weapon has more end-game potential besides the reflect aspect?

3. Can I swap LA with Split Arrow or is LA in both cases better than SA?

Non legacy windripper is terrible. There is no contest here. Even a legacy ripper is terrible cost/performance investment unless for some reason you NEED that 25 IIQ.

Voltaxic will win in all regardles at a minor damage loss.

A good rare bow however will have about 40-50% more dps than a voltaxic and 15% less than a perfect legacy windripper.

For comparison the following bow will have 98,000 damage reference point damage.

A near perfect windripper will have about 113,000 damage.
A voltaxic will have 78,000.
A non legacy ripper will be around 82,000-84,000 damage.

You can swap to just about any bow skill if your bow is elemental based.
