checking resources" stuck

greetings the loading page when i first start the game says checking resources... but it never progreses to load the game!!!!!!!! any idea how to complete this?

make sure you've disabled or added the appropriate exclusions for Path of Exile to your Antivirus/Firewall/Security software, and also make sure that you're launching by right-clicking PoE and selecting "Run as Administrator".
