Mouse Beeping Bug

This got me killed in THC last night, and has been a problem a handful of times. Occasionally my mouse will stop responding to clicks, and the cursor moves sporadically around the screen as I try to move it. Whenever I click my computer just beeps. This even disables the touchpad on my laptop, as well as the external mouse. After a few minutes it goes away, but as of now, makes it almost impossible to play.
Anyone know of any problem like this, or how to fix it? |

Sounds like an issue with the Mouse hardware or drivers.
Potentially sharing IRQs with things it shouldn't, causing it to not be able to respond when needed. I'd re-install all your system and mouse drivers (since it's a laptop, it likely has a bundle of software on the manufacturer's website). |
