Well i could start putting the alt,alch ,chaos drop only in 3 new seperate columns ( afte the mirror column ) for those of you who are interested in that info. Would that be good enough? That's all i can think of at the moment. Maybe you can propose something better? And if you can, please do so ^^ @galuf Absolutely, and that's why i run with some MF while i still get pretty much optimal clear speed because i 1-shot pretty much everything. Do you try to sell any of the rares you identify? If so, have you kept track of how much currency you generate by selling? |

No, I wasn't been able to sell any. Sure, there were rares that couldve been sold for a chaos or two, but it would've taken way too much time and stash space. But that's just me ... usually I try to avoid trading as much as possible.

GGG admited already that they are tweaking the drop rates on the fly .
Which means , you did some runs and collected some data - good for you . Tomorrow if GGG feels like the drop rates are too high or low , this data will not be usefull . Maybe they changed the drop rates yesterday , you won't even know it . Oh yeah before you say something like " this is not true " , think about why would they let us figure out the casino odds ? Well of course that is true though the only confirmation of a radical currency drop rate change was given once for exalts. In any case I plan on tracking my drops when I farm for ... well ... as long as I farm, and if nothing else the results will remain as a way to compare the average drops for runs 100 - 350 to runs 500 - 650. If any significant drop change occured then the result will reflect that don't you think?
And again i keep track of my drops for me above all else. It makes the farming more fun and looking at the accumulated wealth for a given amount of time gives me a bit of that sweet feeling of accomplishment. I like this. Thanks a lot for taking the time to put this together and share with us. I just may attempt something similar when I start playing again. I've never done a toon geared for any amount of mf however.

Well pretty much all of my mf comes from the iir and iiq gems and from my windripper. Basically it's a completely normal non-mf build and gear but with the gems.

So you're against any empirical collection due to suspicion of dramatic changes constantly? Wouldn't this be evident in his data collected if those "casino odds" were to change? Also I really cannot imagine why you would want to compare GGG's currency decisions with that of a "casino" based odds system. You sound like you're either venting about some other issues or you are very misguided in your assessments of reality. I'd suggest being a bit more analytical of your thoughts- and I mean that in the most sincere way; we all have bad habits in regards to thought analysis, and it took me forever to question things that I was "certain" about. | |

Hi and thanks a lot for this data.
I am playing this awesome MF build from Serleth : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1291803 in Talisman and have been using a similar method to farm currency with good success. I am running t1-t6 map and even though I am not tracking thoroughly I can say for sure that I make more alts and chaos per map (close to 20 alts per map and 2 chaos per map) which is completly normal since I have much more iir (349% iir / 18% iiq + distillate for boss). I don't see the data for Chromatic Orb even though you should be getting a lot of them if you pick up every item that is sellable for a chrom. Another thing is you don't seem to do the chisel recipe that is definitly worth it in my opinion (and to a lesser extend the gcp recipe). Finally I would add that there is a really small cost with this method : you have to buy wisdoms (or portals / transmuts / scraps) because you will use more than what you pick up (self sustaining map on the other hand is really easy as you said). Anyway thanks again for this awesome data, I am always trying to improve the currency that I get per hour and this kind of tracking is really helpful. One of the thing that I was thinking doing is to start picking up all white agate amulet / leather belt and sorcerer boots to sell them but it could be too time consuming to be really worth it.
