Honest opinion from GGG about Lineage Eternal?

We know what GGG thinks of D3 and D2, we know they are awesome with PoE... what I am curious about is how will GGG compete against lineage eternal?
of course the game is not released so it might flop... but it promises a lot, such as 500 player siege pvp... random videos on youtube show that the gameplay at least looks pretty damn good. with the hype alone, it sounds like i might leave poe when this game releases, again i will say it might end up being a flop, but as of now... what is ggg going to do to compete? the other big one is of course lost ark but i'm personally not interested in it since it sounds like it has a lot of scripted gameplay. so i'm asking for an honest opinion from GGG. what do you think and how do you plan to compete? what about you guys, do you think you will end up at least trying the game? |

Is it free to play?
If not then there isn't much competition and if it is it's all down to how badly they mess up the game with micro transactions...blade and soul for instance, nice enough game but severely restricted inventory and bank, 2 character slots, restricted currency generation, over priced vendor items, and queue bypassing coupled with what seemed to be artificial queues. i'm not 100% sure, but i am 90% sure that i read somewhere it was going to be free to play, with microtransactions... poe you need to buy stash stabs, don't deny that fact.
maybe it'll have ridiculous stuff, maybe it won't. it's korean after all. but the game itself, the gameplay, the videos etc look fascinating. time will tell... |

" Not really - I can understand that some people really like MMOs and big party raids, but they aren't my cup of tea. The picture on the right, though is why I doubt I'd enjoy the game:  There's nothing wrong with strong female characters, and nothing says they can't be cute, attractive, or whatnot. But when their depiction verges on demi-porn, it seems kind of pathetic. I suppose some enjoy that, but to me, it's like taking an inflatable doll to impress your friends. I just googled a bit, looks like the game is coming later this year to Korea... that means 2019 in NA & EU :D
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

That's a nice broken spine she's got there.
