I don't think he left Median. there was a new version that came out after 08 called Median XL, and now it has a new version and a new website:

Laz is not working on MXL anymore though; that's all Marco (aka MarcoXNecroX or w/e it was at the time, haha). :) MXL main site, for reference.
Haven't heard from Laz himself lately. (took a one minute look at the new MXL forum: I still remember a bunch of names...) | |
