My stats just standing in a map are - 8250 Life - 100k dps - 6.56aps - 30% DR

Nope, bad idea, the degen will wreck you. There are loads of places to get attack speed than on the chest.

Looks solid! I especially dig that prismatic ring. I would look into getting a Dual Strike enchanted helm, but if you need specific resists, this can be very costly, I got lucky with mine. Only thing I would recommend for passives is getting rid of the Quickstep nodes on the tree, those two points could be used to get 'Melee Damage and Life', right at marauder start, good life and damage and maybe Path of the Warrior. Or keep it where it's at, you got to lvl 97, do whatever you want. Go Kill Shaper!

Right away, should be around level 10. Swords vs axes is debatable. Soul Taker isn't a huge expensive item but you're stuck at that dps for that hand. The off hand axe is cheaper than comparable swords though, because swords are in higher demand for crit builds. For lower dps axes, under 350 dps, they are a lot cheaper than swords. So, axes are more budget.

and axes are ten times more badass lol
I use leap slam asap, preferred use on a nonstop basis though when you have 2 faster attacks, one for dual strike and the other for leap slam

omg no that's suicide, there's a process where leech always comes after your taking damage when it's self inflicted that will cause your leeching to be grossly ineffective even though you should be able to leech that chaos basically instantly. This also happens with blood rage gem as well. I've noticed that it's a strange way of applying the degen that greatly interfere with leech because the game does not nullify the damage you take simply because you're leeching more than the damage you take, you still take that damage and it causes the health bar to go all over the place up and down and it will kill you.
