Theoretical tanky/high dps 2handed marauder best in slot

I thought I would put together a list of what would theoretically be the best possible gear for a balanced dps and tank marauder build. Everything here is open to suggestion. Assumptions Unwavering stance Blood magic Resolute techniques Lots of health nodes +3 or 4 endurance charges Mace Nodes (they are better placed to go with above nodes) Damage Gems will be Ground slam/leap slam/sweep/cleave for aoe / heavy strike for single target + leech + melee damage + fire damage + faster attacks + weapon elemental damage Other gems Warlord's mark or vulnerability +increased aoe+increased duration+faster casting Enduring cry + blood rage + increased aoe+faster casting 4 open slots (molten shell+leap slam if non leap slam spec?) Gear Reqs (1)Every piece of gear shall have max hp (bar weapon) (2)Max dps stats while not interfering with (1) (3)Every piece of gear shall have max armor while not interfering with (1) and (2) (4)Enough dex through + all stats on jewelery for max level faster attacks and bloodrage (5)Strength on every piece of gear (6)80 Elemental resistances in merciless with endurance charges (7)-30 chaos resistance in merciless (8)0 +rarity and 0 +quantity Gear Hp values are based on a recent video by Kripparian: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XgOsrgel1M&list=UUeBMccz-PDZf6OB4aV6a3eA&index=2 which states that life rolls cap at 79 for rings and amulets, 89 for gloves and boots and 109 for chest, helm and belt. In merciless, this gear set will give 66 lightning and fire resist and 80 cold resist before endurance charges and 80 all res with 3 or more endurance charges. -30 chaos resist. Chest can be swapped to Kaom's heart if desired for an HP boost at the cost of dps and resistance and belt can be traded for the magnate for max dps. All gear is listed with prefixes first and suffixes second. Rings prismatic 12 all res 79 Life 16 max physical Elemental damage 36% 32 all atributes 10% attack speed 50 strength weapon - Imperial maul for max dps, Karui maul for max damage per hit physical 169% physical 80% and 135 accuracy rating (irrelevant) physical 38-45 attack speed 27% fire dmg +26% 50 strength Belt - Meginord's 10-20 +physical 60 strength 20 cold res 10% more life 25% flask recovery Amulet onyx 20 attributes 79 life 26 max +physical damage 36% elemental damage 36 attributes 50 strength 22% fire damage Gloves - titan gauntlets 89 life 100% armor 16 +max physical damage or +150 armor 16% attack speed 50 strength 45 cold res Chest - astral 12 all res 109 life 100% armor 150 +armor 50 strength 45 lightning res 45 cold res Feet - titan greaves 89 life 30 movement speed 100% armor 50 strength 45 lightning res 45 fire res Helm - Armageddon Casque 109 life 100% armor 150 +armor 50 strength 45 fire res 30 chaos res Feedback welcome ;) Last edited by Apolyon34 on Feb 16, 2013, 1:54:21 AM
