[2.4] Thor's Thunderblunt Mjölner Discharge (Uber & Shaper Viable)

"
This build is Epic! :D

I don't think is possible but is there a way to follow this build while gearing up/levelling? It's pretty clear how much mandatory are these items but it would be awesome not to farm a lot in another build or another char in order to have it up working.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it :)

Unfortunately since the Mjolner level requirement is level 60 it wouldn't be possible to run this build below that. The build will begin to become more comfortable around level 70 though, when more unique items are available to you and you have additional passive points to branch further. I will try an make a leveling guide for this as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Ren

The most expensive mandatory item for this build would be the Voll's Devotion, although it is possible to do this build without it. Just with much less damage and sustain.

Thank you for the kind words! I'm very glad to hear the build has helped you out, Atziri and Uber Atziri generally comes down to practice and mechanics after you get the gear down.

Ren

Nice build.
I'm using a bit different version, starting from marauder, here's the tree:

I'm using rare belt and gloves for more ias, life and chaos resist (having 20+ chaos res is amazing).
Rathpith globe is also a nice option for mapping and normal atziri where flasks are usually enough to facetank everything, or a rare shield with tons of spelldamage. (with a granite and a jade i get to 80k armor, permanent thanks to surgeon's mod).

After doing some math I realized that lightning pen is in most cases a much better option than iron will, tooltip goes down but the damage is really amazing. Also, I almost always run around with wrath+HoT, the damage becomes incredible (especially for those that do not have a legacy mjolner).

For the flask charges problem: swapping arc with ball lightning solves everything, you get the charges so fast you won't even notice the nerf (with legacy flasks it becomes ridiculous).

Thank you! Yeah chaos resistance is always a great thing to have if you do not like to focus on avoiding it or mindlessly facetanking it ;). Lightning Penetration does in fact deal more damage than Iron Will, the only reason I keep Iron Will in is to easily be able to switch with Life Leech if I feel like I am in a hard boss fight, such as vulnerability trio etc.

What I recommend for you is to drop the three attack speed nodes for Berserker because they are very unnecessary, and instead pick up the Jewel Socket next to Devotion. If you personally want more attack speed to make up for loss of Berserker, you can get a jewel with Life and Attack Speed, and in the end freeing up one passive point.

Yes, a couple friends have told me about Ball Lightning's capability to refill charges. I will update a section of the guide to add that information in, thank you for reminding me.
Sincerely,
Ren

Jewel sockets are always worth more if you are able to fill them with strong jewels. I honestly wouldn't worry too much about 6 aps, that seems a bit much haha.
