What do u think about option to run orb of storms+curse on hit? It will proc the elemental overload and curses at the same time.

U could run defensive auras insted of blasphemy. Its rly easy to curse enemies in the radius of the orb.
Love this build, thinking of rolling it next league.

One thing to consider, is it possible to use Dyadus on this?

Dyadus has enemy taken 40% increased burning damage when chilled, which, as I understand it, due to the wording, is essentially a 40% more damage increase.

Good thinking there, BUT...you lose a proper belt with life/res etc, and resort to shenanigans just to get 40% inc burning dmg.

This build, like many others, will be even stronger in ascendancy ^_^


I just don't know if it will be my 1st build or 2nd. ( I think it will be slow to level compared to other stuff ). It might make up for that lack of speed later on, in endgame, but not sure if it'd be good for a 1st build.

It's actually an axe, so you lose Doryani, which is a 40% more trade off with 100% increased.

Good tradeoff I say

I am rolling this first since it doesn't require any currency and it looks really fun!

Also, I don't think it's very gimmicky, you use lightining trap anyway for EE procs, and chilled ground is extremely strong defensively, so, in terms of comboing or 'rotations', it's exactly the same as the current build, only now you will have (I think) more damage, and more defensives due to chilled ground

Its an option why not, but you can only dualcurse with it (if its enough for you). Ill keep that in mind and may test it.

Another weapon, like doryanis, deal 3x the damage...consistent.

your choice, ive updated the lvling section and started with this char last league preeeeeeetty fast.

lvl with freezepulse+totem until marveil
lvl with firestorm+totem+ searing bond until fixture of fate quest (pre dominus)
use Purity of fire + blasphemy flammability, play with rf totems + searing bond, mobs die like on a high lvl rftotemer.

Edit: I will drop EE next league because Chieftain passive doesnt work well with it. Instead i consider a gearswap malachais artifice + icetrap for some bosses like atziri (like i swap conc effect atm).
Elemental Overload basically replaces EE on a Chieftain and its not like i used EE often

Vaal cold snap and arctic breath are obvious there.

It would deal more damage than Doryanis (and is cheaper, basically 2 wisdom scrolls) as long as they are chilled.

Is it worth chilling every pack? i dont think so
is it required to chill every pack? neither, those totems deal good dmg without any weapon at all.

Ill add dyadus as an option in the gearsection later, honestly ive never looked over unique axes for this build

The thing is i could run carcass 5L for the curse setup (orb+curse on hit+ele weak+flameability+enfeeble) and put my RF into helm best one prob Geofri crest http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Geofri%27s_Crest.

RF+ST+aoe+ele focus . Every gem will get +1 and most importantly spell totem will get one level as well which is a huge life boost=dmg boost.
