Question about CURSE on HIT! PLEASE HELP!!!

I have curse on hit, herald of ice and warlords mark in a 3 link. WIll herald of ice trigger warlords mark? and does it matter in which order the gems are placed in the three link?

Yes, the ice explosions created by Herald of Ice will apply Warlord's Mark.

Using herald of thunder is much better since the explosions already kill things you cant benefit from curses

except with herald of thunder you need to kill a shocked enemy (not every build will fulfill this) and they need to be relatively close. but i guess thats good the curse is warlords mark at this point.
IMO you're better off just linking curse on hit with ethereal knives. free pierce and multiple projectiles gives is awesome coverage and it doesn't need to be activated off a death fulfillment, or reserve mana | |

Ethereal Knives doesn't have any innate Pierce though. If you ask me you might as well just hard-cast it at that point: it's twice as fast and the AoE radius on Curses is solid.
