...Until I can enjoy the fresh new content with my existing characters and items I spent countless hours on earning. Starting from scratch and doing the same thing over and over with nothing is lame. It's pretty much a big F-you to people who simply only want to play standard and don't get to join in the fun.

You can create a new, segregated economy for those that want to start from scratch, but let standard characters join in some of the fun as well in their own segregated standard realms.

When I can join in the new content and leagues (don't care about so called 'races') with my existing stuff, I'll buy another supporter pack, but not until then.

If I'm reading this right, you want a new (optional) standard league after each temp league?

So not happening. Each of those standard leagues would be empty as hell, and would only continue to get smaller with each temp league (and new standard league with it).

I guess it's about the Talisman Challenge, it doesn't sound a lot like it would go to current leagues.

Yeah, doesn't sound like he wants multiple standards. He just wants the league only content in standard. Pretty much taking away 1/2 of the reason to play leagues (other reason would be fresh start).

i think op is just asking for new stuff in the permanent league... so players can do something new and entertaining.
in standard there is nothing but do classic maps.

OP is asking for challenge league content to be included in the standard league, if I understood his post. Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having challenge leagues at all?

The whole point is to create a new experience for players to enjoy from the very beginning of the leveling process.

You can choose to do that, or you can choose to play standard league where there is an established economy with legacy items and all that. It's a tradeoff, and it's a good thing to have. If GGG introduces new stuff to standard at the same time as a challenge league, they're just shooting themselves in the foot and might as well just forget about challenge leagues entirely.

As it is, most of the population plays in the challenge leagues, so why not cater to them? People still play standard because that's where all the godly gear is, but other people play challenge leagues for that exact reason.

I see no reason to change the status quo. I'm going to buy a pack just as soon as I see what the weapon and portal effects are.

Permanent leagues need these leagues only item and currency sinks definitely.
