CWDT in combination with blood magic?

Hey,
i already know that blood magic doesn't trigger cwdt. but is it still useful? e.g. a totem build, blood magic and for more survivability cwdt combined with XXXXX ?? Warlords Mark? Even Auras? Vaal? Are you saying fueling CWDT with life? CWDT doesn't use resource at all.

ok, so CWDT doesn't work with blood magic? thats wrong, i tried and it was working. But the main question: is it useful and how? |

When a spell is triggered with Cast When Damage Taken, or another trigger gem, it doesn't cost mana, so Blood Magic wouldn't assist that link.

It's doesn't matter, it would cost 0 mana --> it costs 0 life

spending life on skills does not count as "taking damage" ...you said you already know this..
but you still take damage from enemies right? If thats the case then cwdt will work perfectly fine, no reason why not, its not related to blood magic in any way, because, as others have said, triggered spells have no mana (life) costs IGN: Eric_Lindros

If anything I am more apt to run multiple cwdt on a BM char since no aura gems or benefits.

4k life, max res and no defense auras or skills is often not enough to survive hard hits.
