I need some help on God-Like item crafting...

Obviously I need a lot of help since I did not know about the +2 mods takes up a mod slot (sadly the guy who did it for me didn't tell me...).

Anyways if I remove the mods and then add STR again (because really for my build I have max resists so nothing else I need) then exalt it, could I get Spell Damage? Well I guess it would be smart to exalt then add STR. I just can never pin point the affix/suffix and ect.

+level gem, %ES, flat ES are prefixes
block chance, Elreon mod, added stat are suffix.

Spell dmg is prefix.

You can have 3 prefix and 3 suffix, so you can't get spell dmg on it.

But you can get mana regen, spell crit by exalting it, so if those are useful and you don't mind wasting more currency then go for it, but keep that in mind, there are still a lot other suffixes which are total garbage.

For further reference you can always use poeaffix.net. It lists the current affixes and all their ilvl requirements per gear type.
